Dr. Raed Tayym is a consultant in General, Bariatric, upper GI and Laparoscopic surgeon. He is an internationally accredited and certified specialist from the Jordanian Medical Council in obesity surgery. He is an Associate Professor of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery (The Hashemite University), and Dr. has postgraduate studies in Obesity Surgery from the University of Western Scotland - Britain. He obtained the British Fellowship in Obesity and Laparoscopic Surgery, the British Fellowship in General, Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery, and the British Board in General, Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is a member of the International Bariatric Surgery Organization, a member of the British Bariatric Surgery Organization, a member of the Jordanian Bariatric Surgery Organization, a member of the European Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons, a member of the International Organization of Laparoscopic Surgeons, a member of the British Organization of Gastrointestinal Surgeons, and a member of the Jordan Surgeons Association.
