About Dr. Iyad Anabtawi

Dr. Iyad Anabtawi is a General and Oncology and Endoscopic Surgeon Consultant, had his degree in medicine from Damascus University in Syria in 1998, post the internship he specialized in General Surgery after he joined the residency at Islamic hospital and Jordanian Ministry of Health hospitals where he had the Jordanian Board of General Surgery Certificate in 2005. Dr. Iyad joined King Hussein Cancer Center in 2007 in a programmed fellowship in Surgical oncology till 2010 where he became a consultant in surgical oncology after achieving the European Board in surgical Oncology in 2012. In 2014, Dr. Anabtawi traveled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he worked for 4 years till he came back to Jordan to start his own clinic in Amman. Dr. Anabtawi's scope of surgeries includes general, laparoscopic, bariatric, and oncologic procedures. Dr. Anabtawi has a life membership in the International Union Against Cancer (UICC), a member in a number of associations including the Jordanian Medical Association, Jordanian Society of Surgeons, and Jordanian Oncology Society. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and has the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
