Dr. Omar Ali Alqam is a psychiatrist and addiction specialist, holding the Jordanian Board certification in psychiatry and is a member of the Jordanian Psychiatric Association. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Misr University for Science and Technology, where he was among the top of his class and his name was featured on the honor roll. He completed his medical training at King Hussein Medical City with distinction, then specialized in psychiatry at Al-Rashid Hospital, where he finished his program on the honor roll and served as the Chief Resident during this period. He also supervised the educational and training program for medical students from several Jordanian universities. Dr. Omar is passionate about mental health awareness and participates in voluntary and community work in collaboration with national and social institutions. He treats a wide range of psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood disorders, and addiction. He currently works in his private clinic, where he is part of a comprehensive mental health team dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients while focusing on promoting mental well-being in the community.
